Megan Kilpatrick /  Operations & Store Manager

Megan is a native of Southern California but as a Navy Brat she grew up in the U.S., Lima, Peru, & Cairo, Egypt. Finally landing in VA she began volunteering at the local music venue Jammin Java to work in the music industry. It was there that she saw a local band called Melodime and learned about their non-profit Now I Play Along Too (NIPAT), an organization born of music that provides instruments and music education to at-risk children. Following a to Haiti to help the band document their music program, developed by NIPAT, her desire to be involved with non-profit organizations was resolved. It was right around that time that the owner of Jammin Java, Daniel Brindley, established Music Makes Life Better (MMLB). She knew by partnering with MMLB she could still help NIPAT and other local organizations through the power of music. When not working at her full time job and helping MMLB, Megan enjoys time with friends & family, attending Comic-Cons, concerts, and taking in as many Broadway plays & musicals as possible on her countless trips to NYC.
